MS Vishwanathan – An Incomparable Loss for Music

The ‘Mellisai Mannar’  MS Vishwanathan (King of Light Music) is no more. Music composer aged 87, died on July 14 at 4.30am. The legend had been undergoing treatment for age related ailments for the past twenty five days at a local hospital in Chennai.

MSV, began his career in 1952 with Tamil film Panam. In the fifties, when music technology was widely unheard of, He introduced  humming, choruses and whistling into his songs. During the seventies he adapted to the changing times by including western music , etc .

Several big singers of today, including S.P. Balasubramanian, Vani Jairam and S. Janaki, were launched by MSV. He worked with fellow composer T.K. Ramamoorthy for over a decade. Much sought after by directors like S.S. Vasan, B.R. Panthalu, K. Balachander, MSV teamed up with poet and lyricist Kannadasan in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Later he worked with poet Vaali. Besides Tamil films, his repertoire includes songs from Telugu and Malayalam cinema. Coming to this generation , He has worked with Yuvan Shankar Raja for the Remake of His yesteryear’s Composition Thillu Mullu .

Major stars from Cine Industry has started paying homage and the cremation will be held on July 15 in Chennai. All Tamil film shoots to be cancelled tomorrow as a mark of respect to the departed legend MSV  . He has been a trendsetter for many compositions ,  its an incomparable loss for the music ,  May the legend’s soul rest in peace – Team WI .

Weekend Verdict – Bahubali 100 cr n counting..!

Bahubali – S. S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus, in three days recorded the fastest movie ever to reach Rs 100 Cr collections. The Prabhas & Rana starrer also registered the highest opening weekend for an Indian film in the U.S. . The 250 crore Tamil/Telugu bilingual had hit the screens this Friday with heavy expectations from every corner. Bahubali managed to satisfy the common man with cheers and the film goers happiness was very well evident from the box office numbers.

If Bahubali was considered the Box office storm, then Papanasm is the silent winner. Papanasm took most of all family audiences time this week as well. Papanasm holds onto a strong second week among its targeted audience base.

Netru Indru nalai was another movie that was held in a few screens despite this being its third week at the box office. WI Nationz wishes Team bahubali for giving us the most commercially successful movie of the decade.

Baahubali – No. 1 in Box Office Of Indian Movies

The most expected film of this year , S.S Rajamouli’s Baahubali The Beginning has hit the screens on July 17th , has set the BOX OFFICE on fire rite from its premier.

The film started breaking records even before its release in USA as Baahubali collected 1.3 Million on its premier which is now the highest for an Indian film to do so beating Amir Khan’s PK. Baahubali breaks the all Indian film records on its first day collection with 65+cr gross (approx) 50cr in India alone and 15+cr in the overseas. The previous record was holded by Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year with 44cc gross Worldwide. Baahubali is poised to be the highest south dubbed opener in Hindi with 5cr on day one. The three day collection of the Hindi version alone is said to be around 20cr (approx) which beats the life time box office run of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Robot which was the best so far with 18cr. Superstar Rajinikanth’s Endhiran lifetime collection in USA has also been crossed by Baahubali in three days with 27cr

Baahubali now becomes the fastest film to hit 100cr in two days, 36 hours to be precise. 3 Years of Billa 2

#3YearsOfBilla2 , Billa 2 is the first prequel movie in Indian Cinema , which is the prequel of yesteryear’s blockbuster Billa . The Film was directed by Chakri , starring Thala Ajith and the film was released on July 13 , 2012 . Though the movie did not do big with the audience and critics , the film is an memorable one for most of the fans .

Highlights of Billa 2 :

1 . In spite of negative reviews , the Film holds the Highest Boxoffice collection for the Opening day and  weekend .

2. The movie was screened with 100+ shows at Mayajaal Multiplex , chennai , Which is the highest ever so far .

3. The Dialogues were very powerful which reflected the pain , character of a man who was forced to become a gangster .

4. The Stunts were framed in a reality manner rather than commercial elements . Especially the Fight at Helicopter was performed with huge risk by Ajith and Vidyut jamwal .

5. Though the film had some  minus points , the whole flick was carried by the screen presence of Thala Ajith .

Dhoni made his odi debut in 2004 vs Bangladesh and first test was against Sri Lanka.He took captaincy in 2007 after Dravid. At the same year , India won the ICC twenty twenty world cup, CB series 2007-08, Under Ms dhoni’s captaincy .

After taking test captaincy in 2008 , he won the New Zealand and west Indies test series.He also led Indian team to win Border Gavaskar trophy (2008,2010,2013).Dhoni led the Indian team to number one position in test cricket at 2013. India is the first team to whitewash Australia in test series which was under Dhoni’s captaincy. He is also doing captaincy for CHENNAI SUPER KINGS (IPL).Dhoni got ICC best odi player awards in 2008 and 2009.

Dhoni was born in Ranchi almora district of uthrakandh.Dhoni is the fan of Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist.
Dhoni did his studies in JVM higher secondary school Ranchi. He started his career as a football team Goalkeeper. Then he developed his Wicket keeping skills and becomes wicket keeper .Under 16 he was performed well in Vinoo Mankad Trophy 1997. Dhoni turned to cricket during his 10th standard. On 4 July 2010 , Dhoni married Shakshi rawat from dehradun.

Baahubali to Release in 4000+ Screens World Wide

Baahubali‬ to release over 1600 screens in ‪#‎AndhraPradesh‬ and ‪#‎Telangana‬ which is said to be 90% of the screens in both the states put together, that would be the biggest ever release for a regional film there!
In ‪#‎TamilNadu‬ it will open with 350 screens by studio green and in ‪#‎Kerala‬ with 225 screens.!
