M.P’s – The MahaRaja’s of Modern India

40 Indian M.P’s are submitting a memorandum, cutting across party lines seeking an enhancement of all emoluments and wanted their salary to be increased on par with Secretaries of Govt. of India.

Parliamentary Committee recommended doubling the salary from Rs. 50000 to Rs. 1 lakh and daily allowance to be increased from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 4000 per day and free 24×7 medical facilities to their wife, wards and grandchildren.

All these happen only in India because of low literacy rate in rural India as per the survey by secc.

Buy ‘affordable Nexus’ at Rs.12000 from July 14

Google’s Android one project was claimed as an affordable version of Nexus. Because along with Nexus devices, android one devices also will also receive all the latest security and software updates. In India, Nexus is made by LG and starts at 44,000, which makes it unaffordable to larger mass. On the other hand, first gen Android one was made by Micromax at only 7,000. But this initial version wasn’t a hit due to many reasons.

Now, Google has joined hands with Indian company Lava, MediaTek chip set. This device is controlled solely by Lava unlike first-gen devices, which took devices from original device makers (ODMs) in China. So, the user experience will surely be with Indian sensibility.

Google has launched android one in countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Philippines, Nepal. In India, it plans to make it big with this next-gen Lava device, so it has invited all top Google officials to July 14 event.

Nexus isn’t a big hit in India, so is the first set of Android one devices. But Motorolo devices did made it big here. Lets wait and see if Next-gen android one devices from Lava will become a hit in India!

Digital India – Narendra Modi

While Inaugurating ” Digital India week” Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi said ” To overcome the global cyber security issues, we have to come up with bloodless solutions. We have to move from E-governance to M-governance. M-governance does not mean Modi governance. It means Mobile governance.

Can India play this big role? India has talent. Can India provide a shield to the world by providing innovative and credible solutions? Why should we not have such a confidence? We should accept this challenge to ensure that the entire humanity lives in peace.

Somebody, with education of 10th or 12th class, sitting thousands of miles away, can clean up your bank account with a click of mouse.

I dream of a Digital India where government proactively engages with people through social media… I dream of Digital India where cyber security becomes integral part of national security.

Technology played a big role in auction of coal mines. So many coal mines were auctioned but there is no allegation against the government because it was all done in a transparent manner. He said

HTC pledges to “Make in India”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious “Make in India” initiative had a new entrant in office today. HTC, the Taiwan based smartphone manufacturer is all set to go with its ‘Make in India’ plans.

HTC has now entered into a pact with Global Devices Network (with manufacturing and assembling unit in Noida) to make handsets on contract. By virtue of which it becomes the second major global smartphone maker (after Samsung) to produce handsets in India.
Commercial production of units is expected to start from mid-July, initially  catering to HTC’s Indian requirements in the beginning.

Global Devices Network, which produces smartphone for Zen and distributes Samsung smartphone, Managing Director Mr. Nitesh Gupta confirmed the company is in talks to start commercial assembling of HTC to make handsets on contract, which should be finalized by next month. “It’s a contract manufacturing agreement,” he said, declining to share further details.

HTC is also expected to set up its quality control unit in the contract manufacturer’s plant. Targeting entry-to-mid-segment smartphones, HTC has of late expanded into contract manufacturing to slash costs, however it retains the production of almost all its high-end models.

Media Reports say HTC has tied up with third-party manufacturers in Taiwan and China and the India plan too falls in the same line. The Indian manufacturing, will fetch a duty differentiation of 6% to 6.5% for making in India, HTC will also get access to a big market and labor”.

World’s leading smartphone makers such as Sony, LG, Xiaomi and Motorola, too, have shown interest in manufacturing in India due to the exemplary growth potential of the country’s smartphone market and not to miss the tax benefits available part of ‘Make in India’ policy. Research firm Gartner expects Indian smartphone sales to grow by 40% in 2015, contributing to over 38% of overall mobile phone sales, up from 27% in 2014.
