Tiger-M@te a Bangladeshi hacker, takes down Google

Google Malaysia was hacked by Bangladeshi hacker Tiger-M@te. When accessed, the website spins into a barrel roll and display the message as seen in the image above. Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that some users were redirected to the hacked website.

A cached version of the website can be witnessed by clicking on this link. The website was soon restored back to the original version.

Google Malaysia acknowledged that the service was disrupted for a while because of a DNS redirection. Google Malaysia spoke to WSJ stating that the website (google.com.my) was being redirected to different website.

At present the motive for the hack in unknown, but it is a similar case of the Google Vietnamese website hack in February
