The 11th edition of the ICC Cricket world cup joint hosted by Australia & New Zealand concluded yesterday with Australia the Top spot. The 44 day tournament constituting 49 matches played in 14 different locations was a major success for the ICC both in terms of results & revenue. On a lighter note, Australia have now won world cups in Asia, Europe, Africa, north america & Australia, so only south america & antarctica remain 🙂 .
