23 year old West Indies  captain Jason Holder says Ms Dhoni is my inspiration.

“MS is an influential figure. In true sense, he is a leader and I found that during my stint with Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. As a captain, I have always looked upto MS’s leadership qualities for inspiration.

Particularly the manner in which Dhoni handles pressure is exceptional. That is the reason he has achieved so much while leading a team with players from different countries. There is so much to learn from him.

I would only be too happy to be involved in IPL again but this time I had a different goal. I was trying to help the West Indies and solidify our position. At the international level, you will have good days and bad days but you need to have self-belief to perform.” He added.

Kalyan Jewellers Investment and Expansion

“We plan to invest up to Rs 1,800 crore to expand into new cities by next financial year to increase our sales network. We are looking at 30 per cent increase in revenue at Rs 13,000 crore this year as against Rs 10,000 crore last year.

We are going to enter into the online space with own portal this year. It is a growing segment.”

Kalyan Jewellers chairman and MD Mr. Kalyanaraman also said that within this year we’ll launch our stores in northern part of India.

Indian Cricket Team Coach will be Announced Soon

BCCI Secretary Anurag Thakur today arranged a press meet and cleared the doubts regarding Indian cricket team coach selection.

“Sourav’s contribution to Indian cricket has been great. He’s been a great cricketer. It will be worth waiting and whatever will be decided will be in the interest of the Indian cricket. There’s a lot of speculation in the media regarding Sourav and the role of the coach. Give us some time to decide.

We’ve already picked the team for Bangladesh and as far as the coach and support staff is concerned we would announce soon.

Today I’m here and will meet the president so we will make the announcement soon. We will take certain decisions as far as the series in Bangladesh is concerned after meeting Dalmiya in the afternoon. The moment we decide we’ll make a formal announcement.” Thakur said.

Kollywood had one major release on this firday , may 22 , Demonte Colony starring Arulnidhi . It is said to be a horror – thriller movie without usual formulas such as love , comedy and commercial elements . The film has received positive reviews from all critics and audience as of now. With  postive mouth talks , Demonte Colony takes the top spot at the boxoffice at the first weekend of its release .

36 Vayadhinle is doing a decent business at the theaters  , followed by purampokku with mixed reviews . Other than these New releases , India Pakisthan is doing average at box office . With 1+ month of run , Kanchana 2 is running steadily in some screens in spite of lots of new releases .

Mumbai Indians – The Champions of IPL 2015

The IPL T20 series which was started on April 8 , last month , has come to end with the finals  between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings which was held on may 24 . In the match of winning the IPL 2015 championship , Mumbai Indians won beating Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs . MI made a solid performance at the bating and scored 202 , which made CSK hard to chase the runs .

With a continuous loss at the beginning stage matches of the series , Mumbai Indians have delivered a fantastic performance throughout the IPL 2015 and won the title for the second time after 2013 , Congrats to Mumbai Indians On behalf of Team WI . Dear Cricket lover , Win or loss , its not a big deal with IPL , let as not wast our patriotism with IPL and lets gear up for Team India Matches !

Rajnath Singh about Pakistan and Terrorism

“Pakistan should extend full cooperation in checking terrorism because the country is facing a similar problem today. Not only India, but the entire world knows who is promoting terrorism. India has the fastest growing economy. I am confident that GDP will reach minimum upto 10 per cent due to policy decisions. Why is Ms.Jayalalitha’s return to the helm of affairs is good for the state ?

“Its an exaggerated Judgement” was every AIADMK cadre’s war cry last September, the DMK felt happy saying “Truth Prevailed”, whereas every common man on a TN street felt “Good or bad this should not have happened at this point in time” (considering the brisk pace at which developments were planned in the state). Days passed, September met May, charges were reverted (we don’t hold the authority to analyse and comment on a Top court’s Judgement), jubilation’s began for the AIADMK, Opposition felt dismayed and again the common man hoped for return of normalcy.

Why is J Jayalalitha’s return to the helm of affairs is good for the state ?

We strongly believe, the role of a voter in our society is very much equivalent to that of a rag picker, you know you are digging into rags, still your job is to choose the best one suited for your livelihood among what is made available to you. Right, we can hear you saying why not 49 o, it’s ultimately of no use at the end (refer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/49-O#Disqualification_hoax). By above means in 2011, among those were available before us we chose the AIADMK and  Ms.Jayalalitha. Things were more than fine, the government made reality many a populist  schemes, it had an vision for 2023,  it’s not that the Government fulfilled all it’s poll promises, but positive energy prevailed everywhere that it will fulfill it.

All of a sudden that happened on Sep 27 and dirty politics was there to be seen for everybody in TN for the last 7 months. The State Government took a paid sabbatical, things went off-course, decisions were denied to be made, and people were given bizarre excuses for the Government’s sluggishness. 237 days passed, the swearing in yesterday brought back the hope of development, hope of normalcy and an end to inactivity.

Let’s not waste time in arguing about the past of a person, let’s think what’s the best possibility available at present to achieve quick growth and  sustainability. We need someone who is not afraid to make decisions, who can establish a strong connect with the center, who should have impeccable administrative capabilities (leaving dirty politics aside, everybody does that for a reason). For us, it all sums up to Ms.J.Jayalaitha at the moment. Let’s have our fingers crossed, its time for TN to shout Peace, Prosperity and Progress!!

Most of the self financed engineering colleges in Tamilnadu want their faculties to bring admissions. Hard fact is, sustainment and performance appraisal of faculties here, are based on the admissions referred and not by their qualification, academic contribution or experience. In the competitive environment, instead searching new job, faculties prefer searching candidates for admission.

When education turns business, marketing becomes the main strategy. But the sad thing is, Teachers lose their dignity.

If this persist, does the quality of an educational institution can be measured by the quality of the teachers it has employed ? , The answer is No, definitely not.

A good faculty has the power to inspire and transform the lives of students. Good Infrastructure with good faculty is the key to indicate the quality of institute. A good quality institute can obviously produce good quality engineers for the society. To be good ,Do good.
