Mr. Gajendra Chauhan was appointed as the chairman of the premier Film institute of the country – FTII Pune. Ever since the appointment, students rose in protest against the appointment. They didn’t consider him as an artistic a film related person to be appointed to that position.

The students union in FTII united the opposition force and the vigour of the strike rose still more.
