German Motors Volkswagen going to introduce five cars (including the iconic Beetle and its popular SUV Tiguanin) in next two years to increase their market in India.
“India is an important market for Volkswagen. In the next 24 months we plan to launch five products.
We will be launching a sub-4 meter compact sedan next year. We also plan to bring Beetle into India.
These launches will widen our product portfolio and enhance our presence in the country. We are also planning to make more production units in India.” Volkswagen Cars Director Michael Mayer said in the press meet.
